Our client, a respected and growing financial services firm based in Auckland, is seeking a skilled Investment Manager to join their high-performing team. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to manage client portfolios, develop investment strategies, and provide expert financial advice to a diverse range of clients.Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage a portfolio of investors, serving as the primary contact for investment communication
  • Identify and assess direct investment and fund opportunities
  • Conduct detailed investment analysis and due diligence
  • Provide recommendations on investments and divestments to clients
  • Analyse economic trends and interpret data to inform investment decisions
  • Present investment strategies and opportunities to new and existing clients
  • Build and manage a strong investment pipeline
  • Prepare detailed performance and valuation reports
  • Proactively seek and engage new investors
  • Provide tailored investment advice aligned with clients' goals and risk appetite
  • Continuously improve processes, strategies, and client offerings
  • Ensure all advice and documentation complies with relevant regulations
About YouTo succeed in this role, you will bring a strong blend of sales acumen, analytical capability, and relationship management skills. You thrive in client-facing roles, excel at presenting complex information with clarity, and are driven by results.You will ideally have:
  • Level 5 Certificate in Financial Services - essential
  • Proven success in investment or wealth management roles
  • Strong relationship-building and sales skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities
  • High level of integrity and commitment to ethical practice
  • Strong analytical and financial reporting skills
  • In-depth knowledge of investment products and financial markets
  • Experience in managing investment portfolios and client strategies
  • Confidence to engage with high-net-worth individuals and institutional clients
