Bidfood has a great opportunity for a permanent position in our distribution team based at our distribution centre in Islington, Christchurch. We are seeking applications for a suitably qualified individual to join the team in the position of Driver/Store Person. This is a Monday to Saturday role. The start times are varied from 4am depending on business requirements.What will you be doing?

The primary responsibility of this role is to deliver our goods to customers, utilising our fleet of vehicles.
Safe loading and on-time departure of delivery vehicles as required
Safe delivery of goods to each of our customer sites
Ensure deliveries are made in full, on time and in accordance with our customers' requirements
Ensure that the vehicle remains fit for purpose for the next day or driver

What you need to bring to Bidfood

Be physically fit - frequent lifting of up to 25kg
Minimum Class 2 drivers licence with experience
An understanding of food warehousing & distribution
Loading trucks for despatch, when required
Reliability and punctuality
Ability to work unsupervised
