Use your proven experience as a Programme or Project Coordinator in a position making a real difference to our firefighters across New Zealand.Mō tēnei tūranga - about the roleAs part of our Health Monitoring programme being developed to monitor the medical and psychological health of our people, the Programme Coordinator will be responsible for a wide range of support to the programme team.You will coordinate workshops and meetings, engage with stakeholders across the organisation, and develop and update critical programme documentation for the programme. You will track and report on key milestones and support the programme to meet all its deliverables.This is a Fixed Term or secondment position until 31 August 2027.Ko tāu nā i tēnei tūranga - What you'll bring to the role:We are looking for a proactive and motivated individual with a strong background in programme or project coordination. You will have excellent communication skills and will be able to juggle and prioritise multiple tasks within a busy and high performing team. You will be flexible and able to support the team in a wide variety of tasks.To be successful in this role, we'd expect you will have:
  • Proven experience providing excellent project or programme coordination
  • Extensive experience using the Microsoft Suite
  • A continuous improvement mindset, while being solutions focused and using your proactive approach
  • Experience coordinating meetings and minute taking
  • Awareness of programme Governance requirements to enable successful delivery
  • Experience in budgeting, financial tracking, and processing invoices
