About the roleThis exciting and newly created position at Metlifecare Pohutukawa Landing Village in Beachlands East Auckland, ensures delivery of premium care hospitality services are provided to our Residents in Care Suites. In this role you will be required to manage and maintain a strong resident and family partnership, whilst delivering exceptional daily resident experiences. You will also lead and mentor a team of activity coordinators and cleaners within the care facility.This is a part time role - 20 hours a week over 5 days and will include working one day of the weekend - work hours will be between 10 and 2 pmSome of the great things you will be doing:

Assist Care Suite residents to coordinate and manage their day in a way that enables them to spend their leisure time doing the things they love.
Manage the Activities Team to ensure an innovative variety of activities is delivered, that is aligned with our residents' interests
Managing the housekeeping and laundry functions and ensuring the presentation of front-of-house areas is consistent.
Ensure that the dining experience delights all residents and encourages socialising and connection with others.

About youIdeally you will have previous experience in hospitality/guest service type positions, ideally in Aged Care, or client service facing or event management roles. With a strong and proven background in leadership roles, you will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills along with the desire to provide an outstanding and premium service to our Care Suite Residents and their families.Check out some of our Benefits!
