This newly established position of Business Development Manager is part of a dynamic team based in Auckland, reporting to the National Sales Manager. Responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities, this role will develop a strong sales pipeline, nurture client relationships, and deliver strategic business growth.Key Responsibilities
- Identify and secure new clients within the security sector
- Develop and deliver tailored proposals and quotes
- Collaborate with internal technical teams to ensure seamless solutions and service delivery
- Proactively research and understand market trends, competitor offerings, and client needs
- Manage the full sales cycle – from lead generation to closing and post-sale engagement
- Maintain accurate CRM records and report regularly on progress, pipeline, and performance
- An experienced Business Development Manager with proven experience identifying and winning new work
- A background within the Security / Data industry would be beneficial
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to estimate and scope tenders
- Proficiency in CRM and sales reporting tools
- A strategic mindset with the ability to work autonomously
- Relevant security industry licence (preferred)
