As a Project Supervisor, you'll provide technical support and to oversee the successful delivery of contracting projects from inception to closure including scoping, planning, execution, monitoring and controlling to achieve specific goals and success criteria of the customer and Northpower of safety, quality, on-time completion and budget.
This role will report to the Delivery Manager - Construction and Scheduling, you'll be managing, coordinating and directing line resources, overseeing assigned projects by ensuring programmes are up to date, through coordination with other Delivery Managers to achieve the best utilisation of staff across the region.The benefits we offer:

- Proven experience in leading and inspiring a team of professionalsWhat we're looking for?Ideally, you'll have good knowledge and experience on the Transpower Network or High Voltage Industry. A solid or experienced Electrical Installation background with New Zealand EWRB registration is essential. You'll also need to have the ability to organise, plan and communicate team & individual workloads while delivering positive outcomes without compromising health and safety. Efficient & competent knowledge & understanding in supervision & regulatory responsibilities.Following skills would be an added advantage:
- Transmission industry experience, dealing with Stakeholders and/or relevant network experience
- Electrical industry qualifications and New Zealand EWRD registration
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
- Great computer skills with proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Project
- Strong interpersonal skills and experience working in a multi-cultural environment
- A strategic thinker with the ability to solve problems and make decisions
- Ability to motivate and influence others while demonstrating integrity and trust
- Full clean drivers' licence
- Formal training in first-line management principles will be seen as an advantage.About us
