Their Wellington branch is looking to strengthen their commercial team with a capable, experienced Quantity Surveyor.This is a fantastic opportunity to work on complex and meaningful construction projects while building long-term career security with a forward-thinking business.About the Role:
We're seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join the team in Wellington, either within the main business unit working on large scale projects as part of a team, or alternatively working across a number of smaller works, typically up to $10m as a lead QS working closely alongside site managers in a broad and varied role.Ideally you will have extensive well rounded experience, confident managing budgets through to final accounts, from estimating, procurement, cost forecasting to contract administration, subcontractor engagement and client reporting. You'll be part of an inclusive and collaborative, highly respected commercial team that's passionate about delivering quality projects.Key Requirements:

Current or previous New Zealand based Construction experience is essential
Minimum 5 years' experience as a Quantity Surveyor with a main contractor in commercial construction
Proven experience with NZS3910 and other relevent contracts
Clear communicator with strong negotiation and reporting skills
Strong attention to detail with a commercial mindset
Ability to manage costs proactively and drive project profitability
