InterContinental Wellington is host to outstanding culinary excellence and an array of 5 Food & Beverage outlets to suit every occasion.We are currently looking for a talented Food & Beverage Supervisor to join our team.Your day to dayAs a Food & Beverage Supervisor, you will bring your warm, approachable demeanor and passion for hospitality to create exceptional and memorable guest experiences. In this role, you'll balance multiple responsibilities with ease, ensuring smooth daily operations while consistently delivering outstanding service.You'll play a key role in leading and inspiring your team, providing hands-on support, training, and guidance to maintain high standards of performance. Additionally, you'll be involved in staffing, including onboarding, and performance management, helping to build a motivated and service oriented team.What we need from you

Strong communication skills and be comfortable interacting with guests and other team members
The ability to problem solve & remain calm in busy periods
Flexibility to work a range of hours, which includes but is not limited to afternoons, evenings & public holidays
A strong team player attitude
2+ years experience in a restaurant, bar or hotel environment
