Transport has the potential to shape our city for the better - from the streets we live, work and spend time on, to the trains, bus services, cycle and walkways we use every day.Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunityAuckland Transport Operation Centre (ATOC) is a joint venture between Auckland Transport and Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency which works behind the scenes to ensure our network keeps moving and that whoever uses it has a safe and efficient journey.In this role you will be responsible for leading the design and delivery of digital products and initiatives for our Network Communications function, to help shape the future of customer communications across the transport network.You'll be at the forefront of designing and delivering digital products and initiatives that enhance how we communicate with customers, especially during disruptions, emergencies, and planned events. You'll work across Auckland Transport, NZTA, and with external stakeholders to lead virtual teams that deliver improvements across people, processes, and technology.Nā tāu rourou | What will you bring?You'll bring a strong background in digital product delivery, service design, or transformation, with proven experience leading cross-functional teams in complex stakeholder environments.With a customer-first mindset driven by a passion for improving public services through digital innovation, you'll ideally have:
  • 8 years' experience delivering improvements across people, process and technology
  • Experience working in an innovation or product development environment.
  • Ability to help foster a customer centred culture with cross functional teams through relentless customer focus.
  • Ability to align focus of stakeholders towards a unified experience that meets evolving customer needs.
  • Tertiary qualification in technology, business, project management, or another relevant field
