About the role | Mō tēnei tūranga mahiAs the Communications Coordinator, you are a vital part of the Le Va team, reporting to the Communications and Engagement Manager. A content creation superstar, you will lead, support and coordinate on a broad range initiatives. Your role will include key communications and stakeholder engagement, social media and marketing campaigns, brand matters, business initiatives and special projects that contribute to the development and execution of Le Va's strategies and support current sector priorities.This is a permanent, full-time position working Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm, based in Harakeke House, Manukau.You | MōuEssential:
  • Relevant tertiary qualification
  • Experience in a communications role
  • Experience with social media, video and photography
  • Sound knowledge of marketing/communication principles and channels
  • Experience with a communications project from start to finish
  • Digitally savvy especially with social media platforms
  • Comfortable to work in mental health, suicide, and sexual violence prevention
  • Demonstrable practice of the Treaty of Waitangi principles
  • Current full, clean New Zealand driver's license and flexibility to travel nationally with ease
Preferred:
  • Experience engaging with Māori, Pasifika and/or youth
  • Knowledge of the New Zealand health, non-government and community sectors
  • Fluency in a Pasifika language
