
Orthoptist - Specialist Eye Care Clinic

- Provide comprehensive orthoptic assessments, diagnosis, and management for a variety of conditions, including paediatric, ocular motility, and neuro-ophthalmology cases.
- Independently run orthoptic clinics and prepare detailed patient reports.
- Support patients with amblyopia therapy, prism therapy, orthoptic exercises, and rehabilitation following neurological conditions such as stroke or multiple sclerosis.
- Contribute to research activities and collaborate across a multidisciplinary team focused on life-changing eye care.
- Must have Bachelor of Science in Orthoptics BSc or BMed Sci (Orthoptics) and or Diploma of the British Orthoptic Council.
- Minimum 2 years' experience.
- Experienced across all aspects of clinical orthoptics with strong assessment and diagnostic skills.
- Excellent communication, organisational and patient care skills.
- Flexible, self-motivated, and able to thrive in a busy clinical environment.
