As a Kaimahi Hauora/Support Worker, you'll be providing essential support to our client with complex support needs.Your role involves providing client centred support in their home and within the community.Morning, Afternoon and Overnight shifts available throughout the week and weekends.Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one support to our client enabling them to lead an active and fulfilling life.
- Assist with daily living activities, including personal complex cares, mobility support, home management, and rehabilitation activities.
- Create a safe and supportive environment to encourage independence and participation in activities that are meaningful to them.
- Entitlement to work in New Zealand
- Flexibility in working various shifts including weekends
- Full drivers' licence
- Good command of the English language
- Health and Wellbeing qualification
- Experience in the Health and Disability sector
- Empathetic and Compassionate
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Understands the unique challenges and needs associated with living with a life impacting injury or disability
