- Providing advanced chairside support across a variety of general dental procedures
- Leading sterilisation and infection control processes to the highest standard
- Managing clinical stock, supplies, and inventory to keep the practice running smoothly
- Mentoring and training junior Dental Assistants, fostering a supportive learning environment
- Confidently using Exact software for scheduling and clinical notes
- Stepping in to support reception and administrative tasks as needed
- Must have 2-3 years of experience as a Dental Assistant
- NZDA certification is highly regarded
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities with calm professionalism
- A patient-focused mindset with excellent communication skills, written and verbal
- Confidence with dental software and digital systems (e.g. Exact)
- A reliable, punctual, and proactive approach to your work
- Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all aspects of the role
