Job DescriptionHow you’ll make an impactAs our Senior Dental Assistant, you’ll be an integral part of our clinical team, responsible for:
  • Providing advanced chairside support across a variety of general dental procedures
  • Leading sterilisation and infection control processes to the highest standard
  • Managing clinical stock, supplies, and inventory to keep the practice running smoothly
  • Mentoring and training junior Dental Assistants, fostering a supportive learning environment
  • Confidently using Exact software for scheduling and clinical notes
  • Stepping in to support reception and administrative tasks as needed
This is a varied and rewarding role where your leadership and initiative will be highly valued.QualificationsWhat we’re looking for:
  • Must have 2-3 years of experience as a Dental Assistant
  • NZDA certification is highly regarded
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities with calm professionalism
  • A patient-focused mindset with excellent communication skills, written and verbal
  • Confidence with dental software and digital systems (e.g. Exact)
  • A reliable, punctual, and proactive approach to your work
  • Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all aspects of the role
  • Enthusiastic, smiling and positive personality
