- This role will take responsibility for the coordination and execution of various initiatives that inspire Deloitte staff to participate in Te Ao Māori.
- Coordinate initiatives with the People and Performance team and Hourua Pae Rau leadership to uplift cultural competency of Deloitte New Zealand's people in Te Ao Māori.
- Deliver training sessions and collaborate with external providers to deepen engagement with Māori culture.
- Organise and execute cultural activities, including Matariki and Te Wiki o Te Reo Māori, among other initiatives.
- Facilitate learning opportunities that enhance cultural competency across the organisation.
- Manage meeting and event coordination, ensuring all lead to actionable outcomes.
- Support the Early Careers Manager with Tīheru scholarship administration, tracking participant details, and coordinating internship timelines.
- Fluent in te reo Māori.
- 1-3 years experience in a cultural advisory role preferred.
- Confident speaking in front of groups and delivering training.
- Sound planning and organisational skills with ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to build relationships within the business at all levels.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Confident with use of Microsoft Powerpoint, Excel, Word, Teams and Outlook in a corporate environment.
