As our General Manager Operations - Education, you'll be responsible for setting and delivering the strategic operational direction across our national education portfolio. You'll be the key link between our Executive team and regional operations, driving performance, innovation, and client satisfaction. This is a full-time permanent role based at the National Support Office, Auckland.Ko o kawenga / Your responsibilities:
  • Lead the development and execution of sector-wide operational strategies and performance targets.
  • Champion health, safety, and environmental excellence across all education sites.
  • Drive financial performance through cost optimisation and profitability improvements.
  • Build and maintain strategic client relationships to ensure contract retention and satisfaction.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver innovation, efficiency, and sector growth.

  • Proven senior-level operations leader with 10+ years' experience, ideally in food or service industries.
  • Results-driven with a strong track record in operational excellence and team leadership.
  • Skilled in change management, stakeholder engagement, and strategic planning.
  • Financially astute, highly numerate, and confident in commercial decision-making.
  • Inspirational communicator with the charisma to lead teams and influence senior stakeholders.
