About the roleAs an Academic Partner, you'll play a key role in supporting our academic staff to design and deliver high-quality, engaging, and student-focused learning. Working within MIT's Academic Centre, you will:
  • Lead and model quality assurance processes.
Support staff to design curriculum, assessments, and digital learning resources. * Promote simplification, standardisation, and continuous improvement across teaching and learning.
  • Collaborate across teams to ensure teaching practice reflects strong pedagogy and inclusive design principles.
This is a role where you'll use your expertise to uplift others - helping educators to do their best work, so learners can thrive.What you'll bringWe're especially interested in people who have:
- Experience supporting effective learning and teaching (curriculum or course design is a plus).
- Strong digital skills and confidence with learning technologies.
- Practical knowledge of pedagogy, assessment design, and inclusive education.
- A collaborative approach and the ability to work across different teams.
- A background in tertiary education (or wider education in Aotearoa).
- A teaching qualification and/or advanced study in learning design, digital education, or a related field.Don't meet every requirement?
