- Make a real difference in the lives of patients and their families as a Scheduling Coordinator, you'll be responsible for booking, confirming, and coordinating patient appointments to meet the clinical and operational needs of our client.
- Along with your team members, you'll also provide administrative and back up reception support when required, ensuring a professional and welcoming experience for patients and visitors.
- As part of a team of Clinic Schedulers you will be primarily be responsible to book, confirm and co-ordinate patient appointments and associated activities to ensure patients' needs are met within the Practice guidelines and timeframes.
- Accurately input patient and billing information into relevant systems (e.g. patient software and Microsoft Office - both to be shortly upgraded)
- Liaise with Doctors, other clinical and admin staff to optimise scheduling and ensure timely service deliveryIf required, on occasion provide reception support including answering calls, greeting patients and visitors
- Maintain accurate and confidential records (electronic and paper-based)
- Assist with general administration duties and support process improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with privacy, confidentiality, and health & safety policies
- Proven communication skills (verbal and written) with a strong customer focus
- Resilient, can-do attitude, open to upcoming IT changes, training on
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Previous clerical/administrative experience in a healthcare setting an advantage
- Cultural sensitivity and awareness when interacting with patients from diverse backgrounds

- Up to $75,000 dependent on experience

- Four weeks leave, after five years this increases to 5 weeks/year
