Tumanako Inpatient Unit has the perfect position for you.About the RoleTumanako is a 29 bed purpose built unit that cares for adults over the age of 18 who live in the Northland area. We have a multidisciplinary team who work closely together to create a supportive and recovery focussed environment for our Whaiora. We are also committed to quality improvement, staff wellbeing and working collaboratively across services.About YouThis position would ideally suit a person who is creative; energetic, flexible, well-organised and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Applicants are responsible for planning and delivering a structured activities programme on the unit. You may have a background in Diversional Therapy, qualifications in sports and recreation or possess other applicable skills and experience in working with small groups. We provide a varied activities programme which includes arts and crafts; music; cultural focused activities; sports and leisure/recreational activities.
