The work environment is vibrant and dynamic where they work hard and have a close-knit team with senior management working hand in hand with the wider office. This is an excellent opportunity for an established Assistant Accountant looking to branch into the financial analysis space, there could also be potential for a permanent opportunity for the right person.The Role
Working in a finance team of 10 and reporting into the FC, you will be responsible for managing the key commercial client accounts with a focus on reporting. You will be working across multiple systems, and you will have strong excel skills with an ability to manipulate and cleanse data with strong technical skills and good business acumen.Your duties will include:
- Distributing weekly and monthly customer reports for over 300 accounts
- Analysing current and past data for individual contracts and understanding the variances
- Calculating commissions on sales
- Intercompany re-charges
- Account reconciliations
- Communicating insights of weekly reports to wider business and external stakeholders
- Ad-hoc reporting
This is an exciting and challenging role which give the right person an opportunity to get involved with some interesting and complex work, which is very specific to the industry my client operates within.The ability to do Pivot Tables and V Lookups is essential for this role as you will need to do this in order to manipulate the necessary data to compile reports. You will also have strong communication skills and be able to work in a team environment.How to apply
