Job Description:The CompanyMy client is global, automotive powerhouse who are growing rapidly in New Zealand. They have multiple revenue streams and are moving from strength to strength. Due to the incumbent moving into a different role within the business, they are looking for a technically strong, commercially minded finance manager for an initial 5 month term with permanent potential at the end of the contract.The RoleAs the Commercial Finance Manager you will be reporting to a CFO based in Australia, with a dotted line to a Auckland based Senior Manager, managing 1 staff member. You will have a blended technical/commercial background and have the ability to take ownership of the New Zealand P&L. You will be responsible for the following tasks:

Manage all aspects of financial control within the commercial operations, providing financial guidance to support strategic decisions.
Lead or participate in the production of budgets, plans, and ad hoc financial analysis.
Understand industry trends, dynamics, and financial performance metrics.
Develop strategies that work to minimize financial risk.
Collaborate with auditing services to ensure proper compliance with all regulations.
Monitor cash flow, accounts, and other financial transactions.
Undertake strategic analysis and assist with strategic planning.
Advise management on financial aspects of business strategy, including budgeting and forecasting.
Assist in the development and update of financial systems and controls.

Your profile:You should come with excellent written and verbal communication skills and have the ability to manage both up and down. CA/CPA qualification is non-negotiable. Experience in a multinational environment and/or big-4 experience is highly desirable but not a requirement.How to apply
