My client is a fast-growing New Zealand company based in East Tamaki operating in the manufacturing and export industries. The company is a New Zealand success story who produce a range of quality products at their manufacturing facilities across the country and export them globally.The Role
As the Commercial Analyst you will be reporting to the Commercial Manager with a dotted line to an impressive GM-Commercial. You will be doing a deep dive into the operations of the business, using the insights you find to drive commercial outcomes for the business - this an opportunity to add real value. You will be responsible for:
- Customer contract analysis
- Margin analysis
- Partnering with division heads on performance
- Budgeting/Forecasting
- Maintain dynamic pricing models
- Ad-hoc reporting when necessary
To be considered for the role you will need to be a self-starter, have a drive & energy to make things happen & be proactive in nature. You will have previous experience in a similar role within a commercial organization sitting in the finance team honing your analytical skills. The keys things are:
- FMCG or manufacturing experience
- Experience working in a commercial finance setting (not tech)
- Strong technical excel skills, with advanced modelling ability
- Exceptional business acumen, ability to understand key drivers and zoom in and zoom out
