- Lead, manage and support a multidisciplinary team of kaimahi
- Assist with building a dynamic teaching and learning environment
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality teaching and pastoral support to our ākonga
- Utilise effective relationship building and communication skills
- Deliver high-quality, future focused teaching & learning
- Undertake a Kaimanaaki role as a key part of your mahi. This role focuses on the value and importance on the pastoral support you will provide to your group of ākonga
- Engage with ākonga & whānau in Face to face and online contexts
- Live Te Tiriti o Waitangi
- Bring our local curriculum Te Ara Pounamu, to life for ākonga
- New Zealand teacher registration and a current practising certificate
- Have a proven record of effective leadership of Kaiako
- A track record of working positively to deliver on organisational strategic direction
- Be an effective educational practitioner
- Be proactive and organised
