Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will provide key accounting support across the finance function, assisting in the preparation of month-end reports, maintaining general ledger integrity ensuring financial operations run smoothly.Key Responsibilities
- Assist with month-end closing, journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations
- Maintain fixed asset register and oversee depreciation entries
- Support preparation of GST, FBT, and other statutory reporting
- Perform inventory and cost of goods analysis
- Liaise with internal stakeholders across finance, operations, and logistics
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements and audit support
- Ad-hoc duties as requested
We're looking for someone who is proactive, detail-oriented, and thrives in a collaborative team environment. You'll need to be confident working in a dynamic setting and comfortable juggling multiple priorities.We are looking for the following:
- Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in accounting roles
- Experience within distribution, supply chain, logistics, or FMCG industries highly desirable
- An understanding of stock/ inventory is required
- Proficiency in Tier 1 or 2 ERP systems and strong Excel skills
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Ability to hit the ground running and contribute from day one
