- Lead a core team: Head Chef + 2 Sous Chefs + seasonal kitchen hands (1-8).
- Manage day-to-day restaurant service (60 seats, scaling up to 250 covers including lawn and pop-up bars).
- Oversee weddings, corporate events, and pavilion functions during the busy season (Dec-Apr).
- Plan, budget, and manage kitchen operations, costs, and staff performance.
- Mostly daytime hours, minimal late nights; quieter April-October.
- A few years' Head Chef experience, preferably in both restaurant and events/banquets.
- Strong financial, cost management, and performance management skills.
- Confident with computer-based systems and compliance requirements.
- Excellent communicator, organised, and able to lead a seasonal team.
- Salary: $85k-$100k depending on experience.
- Subsidised accommodation ($190-$250/week) and relocation support.
