Step into a career where your actions today help power tomorrow.What you'll do:Our Senior Procurement Specialist will support all our Corporate Office procurement activities with a large focus in our Technology & Transformation area, to deliver the best value and commercial outcomes that align with our strategic objectives and priorities at Genesis Energy. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference, working on high-impact projects and building trusted relationships across the business.Some of the key responsibilities are:

Drive category management and identify new opportunities and strategies for procurement initiatives.
Lead and own RFPs and contract negotiations, ensuring best-in-class sourcing outcomes.
Play a pivotal role in large, transformative digital projects and other exciting initiatives.
Champion continuous improvement and innovation across procurement processes.
Build and nurture trusted partnerships with key business stakeholders and suppliers.

What you'll bring:Our ideal candidate will be a proactive self-starter who enjoys building relationships and working in an environment where no two days are the same.The ideal candidate will also have;

Extensive experience in procurement and strategic sourcing within a commercial environment, particularly in technology and corporate services.
A natural curiosity and initiative to seek out opportunities to make a positive impact, anticipating needs before they arise and constantly searching for ways to improve and innovate.
Great relationship building and stakeholder engagement skills, acting as a trusted advisor, bringing valuable insights and adding strategic value.
Proven ownership of work end to end, with accountability, dedication, adaptability and resourcefulness to deliver successful projects, balancing competing priorities along the way.
Positivity and resilience in facing challenges, with a commitment to continuous improvement-challenging existing practices, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence, and making a meaningful difference for the team and organisation.
