Our Butchers are key members of our esteemed Butchery, central to our competitive advantage and success, delivering exceptional gourmet cuts and outstanding customer service.About the roleThis full-time role is perfect for a Butcher looking to apply their expertise and continue to develop their skills in our innovative and dynamic environment. You'll be an integral part of our customer-focused team, contributing to the creation of high-quality meat products that delight our shoppers daily. We aim to be at the cutting edge of Butchery innovation, from developing new flavours and combinations, to premium cuts.Key responsibilities

Produce a wide range of high-quality meat products, including gourmet cuts and sausages.
Develop and introduce innovative meat products and new flavours to our Butchery offering.
Mentor, coach and train our Apprentice Butchers, inspiring the next generation of butchers.
Maintain exceptional merchandising standards and provide the great customer service New World is renowned for.

HoursFull-time hours, butcher shift pattern starts from 05:00am - 13:30pm, Sunday - Thursday. New World Centre City operates from 07:00am - 10:00pm, 7 days a week, our Butcher department operates from 04:00am - 8:30pm.About you

Qualified Butcher or experienced professional with a strong butchery background.
Passion for the Butchery trade with a commitment to quality.
Eager to contribute to the success of the team and the development in innovation.
Willingness to learn and grow in the role.
